Stuffed french toast recipe

Stuffed french toast is basically made of two slices of bread stuffed with a sweet cream cheese mixture, dipped in an egg mixture. This recipe is a healthier alternative of the traditional stuffed french toast. For the stuff I use peanut butter , bananas and honey instead of the sweet cream cheese.

Ingredients
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 banana
  • bleuberries
  • 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
  1. Break the egg into a shollow bowl and beat them lightly with a fork, and the milk and the cinnamon.

  2. Spread the peanut butter on one side of the slice of bread and add the banana and honey. Then top it with the other slice of bread.

  3. In a large skillet add the olive oil and turn on the heat over medium low.

  4. Dip the toast in egg mixture and let it coat.

  5. Place in skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.

  6. Remove from pan and top with banana, blueberries and honey.
