Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 5 peaches
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • zest and juice of a lemon
  • 1 tbsp flour
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, brown sugar, flour, lemon zest and juice. Toss the mixture gently until the peaches are evenly coated. Allow it to sit for a few minutes while you prepare the crumble topping.

  3. In another bowl, combine the oats,  flour, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Mix to combine.

  4. In a baking dish (an 8x8-inch square dish or a similar-sized ovenproof dish), spread the peach mixture evenly.

  5. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the peaches, covering them completely.

  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the topping is golden brown, and the peach filling is bubbling.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve your peach crumble warm, either on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
