Quiche is a savory pie or tart made with a pastry crust and filled with a mixture of eggs, milk or cream, and various ingredients such as cheese, vegetables, meat, or seafood. It originated in France and has become a popular dish in many countries around the world. Quiche is typically baked until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown, resulting in a delicious and satisfying dish that can be served for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a skillet, lightly sauté the diced leeks and spinach over medium heat until they are slightly softened. You can use cooking spray or a small amount of olive oil for greasing the skillet.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, black pepper, garlic and oregano until well combined.
Press the dough into a 9-inch pie dish, spreading it evenly along the bottom and up the sides.
Stir in the sauté vegetables.
Pour in the egg mixture.
Sprinkle the feta cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the middle and the crust is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
