Everyone likes their pizza their own way so in this recipe I show you how to make the just the dough. You can make your pizza thin and crispy or even thick and soft and that's what I love about it. Skip the next delivery order and try out to make your own pizza with just 6 ingredients.

Store in the freezer

You can also prepare a bunch of pizza doughs and leave them in plastic bags formed into balls in a freezer. The recipe down below is for approximately three individual sized pizzas.

Ingredients
  • 320 ml lukewarm water
  • 450-500 g all purpose flour or bread flour
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
  1. In a bowl add in the water, sugar and yeast and whisk with a stand mixer for 3 minutes. Cover and allow to rest for 5 minutes.

If you don’t own a stand mixer, you can simply use a large mixing bowl and mix the dough with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula.
  2. Add in the olive oil, flour and salt. Whisk them on a low speed until the dough is formed. Then use your hands and knead the dough for 5 minutes.

If it bounces back slowly it's ready, if not keep kneading.
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest for 1 hour.

  4. Pre-heat the oven at 180. Divide the dough into 3 pieces. On a floured surface shape the dough. Then transfer each pizza dough to a pan.

  5. With the use of your fingers, push dents into the surface of the dough. This will later prevent it from bubbling.

  6. Lastly add your favourite toppings.

My own favourites are tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and prosciutto.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes at 180°C.
